How to Delete Your Account
You can request the deletion of your Grahachara account and all associated data. Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone.
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open the Grahachara app
- Go to the Profile tab and scroll to the bottom
- Tap "Delete account", below Sign out
- Confirm twice. The deletion then runs immediately, and you are signed out
If you signed in with Apple, deleting here also withdraws Grahachara's access to your Apple ID.
Option 2: Request via Email
Send an email to hello@wenthura.lk with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your account (the Google or Apple address you signed in with).
We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account information Your name, email address, Google or Apple profile data, and your uploaded profile picture
- Birth details and charts Date, time and place of birth, and every chart cast from them
- Generated readings Life reports, daily readings, porondam matches, partner portraits and their images
- Palm readings The traced geometry and measurements kept from a palm scan (the photo itself was never stored)
- Questions and answers Every conversation, including questions held for an unlock
- What you told us about yourself Day ratings, answers about your own past, and messages you sent through Send feedback
- Requests you made WhatsApp access requests and order conversations
- Subscription data Your subscription status and entitlements (linked to your account)
- Token balance Any remaining report tokens
- Notifications Scheduled and sent notifications, and your device's push token
What Data May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for legal and business requirements:
- Transaction records Payment transaction IDs may be retained for up to 12 months for financial reporting and refund processing as required by law
- Anonymized analytics Usage rows such as which offers were shown are kept with your identifier replaced, so they can no longer be traced to you
Important Notes
- If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) before requesting account deletion. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Grahachara again.
